Why take a class from us
Where there are many instructors in the Dallas area, there are very few that base there efforts on the flatwater paddler, then if needed take those skills and transform them to whitewater skills. We have found that this process is a much quicker way to develop good boat control in whitewater kayaks (think of it as training wheels) and the absolute best way of learning for the touring or recreational paddler. We use only touring kayaks and equipment in our flatwater classes, since this is the best boats to develop good strokes. We did not go cheap in this by buying recreational kayaks that are half the price of touring kayaks, or throw in white water kayaks to excape buying more kayaks, you cannot develop as many skills in them.
